See What Our Students Have To Say

I went to school at Renaissance Academie and had a great experience. The teachers all really care about their students & the flexibility of the program helped me be successful. I can’t wait to see where this education takes me!

I have attended the Nail Tech course at Renaissance Academie. I passed my state board exams both written and practical and I want to especially thank the leaders and those who instruct the Mock Prep courses. Also, I benefited greatly from the video provided for my review. I felt extremely prepared and confident and comfortable as can be when being tested. Anything that I slipped up on was only because of my own personal test anxieties. And I knew better because of how well I felt prepared. I want to thank Sonya, Janelle, Maddi and all of my leaders who have been available to me throughout the offered program.

I went to the master esthetician program here at RACE and loved it! It’s a great place for your education, the hybrid program works so well and the leaders here are amazing. Amber was so knowledgeable and helpful! Leisje and Sarah were also so great with trying to help with whatever I needed.

Additional Enrollment Resources

RACE requires each student enrolling in any education program to provide the following:

Proof of Secondary Education
Applicants must provide proof of secondary education, such as a high school diploma, GED certificate, an official transcript showing secondary school completion, or a state-issued home school certification.

Proof of Age
Applicants must also provide proof of age, such as a valid driver’s license, birth certificate, or other government-issued photo identification.

High School Students
High school students may only enroll through an approved Training Agreement established between RACE and the applicable high school or school district.

VALIDATION OF HIGH SCHOOL COMPLETION

If there is reason to believe that a high school diploma is not valid or was not obtained from an institution that provides recognized secondary school education, RACE will follow the process outlined below:

  1. Request official documentation directly from the secondary school confirming the validity of the student’s diploma.

  2. Request verification from the appropriate state department or agency in the state where the secondary school is located to confirm that the institution is recognized as a provider of secondary school education.

FOREIGN DIPLOMA

If an enrolling student provides a foreign high school diploma, RACE will work with the student to obtain an official English translation and documentation confirming that the education received is equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma. This evaluation must be completed by a qualified, independent credential evaluation agency.

Transfer Policy

Transfer Students

RACE accepts transfer students and evaluates each applicant’s prior training to determine the number of hours that may be accepted toward graduation.

Students must provide an official transcript from their previous school documenting the hours completed. Approved transfer hours will be deducted from the state-required course hours, and the remaining balance will determine the number of hours RACE will contract to provide.

Tuition is calculated by multiplying the current hourly rate at the time of transfer by the remaining required hours. Any required tools, books, or equipment will be added to the contracted tuition amount.

Before beginning their course of study, students must finalize their financial aid arrangements or school payment plan.

RACE does not recruit students who are currently attending or admitted to another institution offering a similar program of study.
